Fuel add Lapid, Panwar

Lapid joins the Fuel after playing with the Cincinnati Cyclones and Kalamazoo Wings over the last three seasons. Last season with the K-Wings, he was alternate captain while tallying 27 points (10g-17a) in 44 games. In Cincinnati, Lapid played in 93 games where he recorded 69 points (21g-48a) across two seasons.

Prior to his professional career, the 27-year-old played four years at Canisius College, where he totaled 61 points in 97 games.

Panwar joins the Fuel after splitting last season with the Bloomington Bison and the American Hockey League’s Chicago Wolves. With the Bison, he had three points (1g-2a) in 15 games while adding six points (2g-4a) in 42 games with the Wolves. During the 2023-24 season, he posted one goal in five AHL games with Hartford and had 54 points (22g-32a) in 64 ECHL games with Cincinnati.

Prior to turning pro, Panwar totaled 124 points (54g-70a) in 199 career Ontario Hockey League games with Hamilton, Peterborough, Flint and London.
