Tyler Inamoto and Bobby Russell scored at even strength while Colton Young and Tanner Eberle buried shorthanded goals on the same penalty kill to build up the big lead for Greenville. Eberle’s goal at 10:10 chased Blades starting netminder Cam Johnson out of the crease after allowing the four markers on six shots against.

Florida had a number of opportunities in the rest of the frame, but couldn’t bring the game any closer. Ethan Somoza buried an empty netter to seal the win and give the Swamp Rabbits their third victory in a row.

Jacob Ingham made 40 saves for the win while Evan Cormier stopped all 17 shots he faced after entering the game to relieve Johnson. Overall, Florida outshot Greenville 41-24 in the game.
