Four games on Wednesday night’s EIHL schedule

Wednesday night hockey in the final week of the 2025-26 regular season is on the schedule tonight, and it’s all about playoff seeding for six of the eight teams involved.

In Cardiff, the Devils host Sheffield Steelers as the teams battle it out for who will finish second. Both are locked on 69 points through 51 games played, with Nottingham just a point behind.

The Panthers themselves host Manchester at the Motorpoint Arena. For the Storm, a win here would move them a step closer to securing fifth, while the Panthers could still finish second with a strong end to the season. If things finished as they are now, this would be a playoff matchup.

Belfast Giants have already won the league title, but still have three games to play before the playoffs. They host Coventry Blaze tonight, the team that knocked them out of the Challenge Cup in the semifinals. The Blaze could mathematically still finish fifth, although more realistic targets are sixth-placed Guildford.

In Glasgow, the Clan face Dundee Stars for the final time this season. Clan can still finish seventh but would need to win out and hope for results elsewhere to avoid playing Belfast in the Quarter-Finals — a matchup that could be confirmed tonight if results fall a certain way. Dundee are already out of playoff contention and guaranteed to finish ninth.
