A busy Saturday night in Week 11 sees four league games on the schedule, each carrying importance at both ends of the table.

Panthers vs. Steelers games rarely need much introduction, but with the teams first and second in the league, tonight’s meeting takes on even more significance. The Panthers have won four straight in league play, while the Steelers arrive on a run of three consecutive victories. Each side won the road game when they met in the Cup, but it’s back to league action tonight with just a point separating them in Sheffield’s favour – though the Steelers have played one more game. Nottingham have yet to lose a league game at home in regulation this season, while the Steelers hold the same record on the road.
In Coventry, the Blaze return from Belfast where they got a point to host Dundee Stars. The teams have not faced each other since March last season, and not since February at the Skydome where the Stars came out on top. Both sides will be aiming to reverse disappointing league starts as they meet for the first time this campaign.
Manchester and Cardiff played out two tight Challenge Cup fixtures that both went the way of the Devils, but now meet for league points at the Storm Shelter. The sides head into the weekend three points apart with Cardiff having played one game more. Both won last time out, although the Devils have the slightly stronger recent form with three wins from five, compared to Storm’s two.
Fife Flyers’ search for a first league win of the season continues as Glasgow Clan visit Kirkcaldy. Clan played Friday night against Guildford, losing in overtime, while the Flyers added David Booth to their squad ahead of resuming league action this weekend.
