Saturday night in Week 18 of the 2025/26 Elite Ice Hockey League season takes us to Game 137 of the 270-game regular season.

It’s a huge night in Belfast as league leaders Nottingham Panthers visit the Giants, who sit second overall when the table is sorted by win percentage. In real terms, Belfast are five points back with two games in hand. This is the second meeting between the teams this season. Last year, the Giants needed two wins over the Panthers on the final weekend to clinch the league title.
Sheffield Steelers continue their Scottish road trip with a visit to Fife Flyers. The Steelers are playing in all three Scottish rinks this weekend as part of a three-in-three, which began on Friday night with defeat in Glasgow. The Flyers looked set to beat Manchester last week before conceding two goals inside the final 68 seconds and losing in a shootout.
Manchester Storm return to home ice to face Cardiff Devils. All of the meetings between these teams this season have been close, and both sides go into the game with the Devils second on 40 points and Storm fifth on 31, with two games in hand. A win for the hosts would see them close the gap further on the teams above.
The early game takes place in Guildford at 6pm, where Coventry Blaze are the visitors. The Blaze played on Friday night, losing out in overtime Dundee to move onto 23 points from 28 games. Guildford were beaten by the Stars last Sunday but picked up an overtime point in Nottingham to remain firmly in the middle of the pack.
