Four EIHL games coming up on Saturday

There are four games on the schedule today as Week 13 continues across the Elite League.

The day’s early start sees Guildford Flames hosting Fife Flyers. The visitors are one of the league’s in-form teams after winning both games last weekend in overtime. Guildford had a mixed Week 12, losing heavily in Cardiff before producing a big home win against Dundee two nights later. The Flyers have not won in Guildford since 2023.

Cardiff’s defeat in Fife left them three points off the top of the table in the early running, made four by results on Friday. They welcome a Giants side that has already won once at the Vindico Arena this season. Belfast sit four points behind the Devils but have three games in hand. Based on points percentage, the Giants rank third in the league so far and come into the night after winning both of their games in Scotland last weekend.

Nottingham continue their road trip north of the border in Dundee, where the league leaders have already won twice this season. Dundee have played the fewest games of any team in the EIHL at the moment but sit only three points off a playoff place.

Sheffield Steelers returned to the top of the table last Sunday following a convincing win in Coventry, and now host the Blaze, who sit in eighth. The Steelers, who were bumped back down into second by Nottingham’s win on Friday night, were shut out by Coventry when the teams met in the Challenge Cup at the Utilita Arena earlier in the season.
