FLyers stop Predators, 3-1 Update to follow

In Nashville, the Philadelphia Flyers defied the odds and held a 2-0 and 3-0 lead on Saturday night en route to a 3-1 win over the Predators.

Joel Farabee had a goal and two assists for the Flyers.

Carter Hart made 31 saves in the Flyers win.

Matt Duchene scored a power play goal in the third period to cut the score to 3-1 to Philadelphia.

The Predators are 0-4-1 since returning stateside from the Global Series.

Kevin Hayes scored to give the Flyers a 1-0 lad in the contest.

With less than two minutes left in the first period, Zack MacEwen pushed the Flyers advantage to 2-0.

Juuse Saros made 22 saves in the loss.
