PHILADELPHIA – It wasn’t easy and it wasn’t much different from the previous regime in Philadelphia, but the Flyers found a way to a 3-2 win over the Detroit Red Wings.
Carter Hart made 20 saves for the Flyers in his NHL debut to help the club get a win under interim head coach, Scott Gordon .

Detroit dropped to 14-16-5.
Jonathan Bernier made 30 saves to take the loss for the Wings; he started in place of Jimmy Howard who was injured in warmups.
