In Boston Thursday night, the Philadelphia Flyers continued their hot streak with a 3-2 win over the Bruins, in overtime.
Travis Sanheim scored on the power play with just over two minutes left in the extra session.
The win was the sixth straight for the Flyers.
“[Wayne Simmonds] did a great job screening in front, so I just tried to pick a corner,” Sanheim said.
Oskar Lindblom and Claude Giroux scored for Philadelphia in regulation.
“I can’t say enough about the way the guys played tonight. That has to be the best game we played,” Flyers head coach Scott Gordon said. “A little bit of a slow start, but you know, nothing that we couldn’t recover from.”
The Bruins dropped to 27-17-7 and have lost three straight.
Carter Hart made 23 saves to get the win.
Boston is 1-2-3 in their last six games.
David Pastrnak scored both goals for the Bruins.
“We got to fix it. Guys got to decide if they’re going to play the right way and buy in and understand what we are right now,” he said. “If we were scoring five goals a night, it’d be a little different animal, you can overlook some of those things. We’re not in that position right now. Hopefully, we are at some point, but we’re not there now.”

Tuukka Rask made 38 saves in the loss.
It was Rask’s first game since a concussion in the loss to the New York Rangers ahead of the All-Star break.
“I felt good yesterday, been feeling good for a few days, so I think it’s good to get back in the groove. I don’t think it does any good to practice and practice and practice. Good to get a game in and go from here,” Rask said.
