It’s the final gameday of 2025 on Wednesday, with three games closing out the year.

On Hogmanay in Scotland, our officials will be in special jerseys featuring tartan and fireworks to mark the event. The jerseys were designed by Fife Flyers fan Erica Wyse.
Here’s what’s coming up today:
- 2pm Glasgow Clan vs. Belfast Giants
- 4pm Fife Flyers vs. Dundee Stars
- 4pm Nottingham Panthers vs. Coventry Blaze
There have been 39 EIHL games played on New Year’s Eve, with 21 of those won by home teams and 18 going to the road sides. Six of those games needed overtime while a further three were decided in a shootout. Nottingham (2005), Edinburgh (2014) and Dundee (2017) were all shut out on the final day of the year.
The last two games played in Fife on 31 December both saw one team score seven goals, while Glasgow have hit five on three of their four home games on this date. Dundee, in need of some good cheer after recent results, have never lost in regulation in four games on New Year’s Eve.
