Fargo ‘Grant’ed Game Three

PAPILLION, NEBRASKA – With the West Division finals tied at a game apiece, the Lancers travelled to Fargo, North Dakota to play game three against the Force.  Omaha won game one at home before dropping game two. The best of five series will play game four in Fargo before travelling back to Omaha for game five if necessary.

It was Chase Grant’s night on special teams as the Fargo forward scored twice on the power play and contributed an empty net goal to complete the hat trick in the winning effort. Yet it was Nate Schmidt who was the catalyst for Fargo’s success as he assisted on all four Fargo goals. Fargo’s Eamonn McDermott added two more assists as Fargo cruised past Omaha 4-3 to take a 2-1 lead over the Omaha Lancers.
