Elliott, Flyers blank Chicago, 4-0

PHILADELPHIA – Joel Quenneville may not have been the problem with the Chicago Blackhawks.  Two games after his firing, the Hawks are 0-2-0 and not looking good in those loses.

On Saturday afternoon, Flyers’ Brian Elliott made 33 saves in a 4-0 win over Chicago.

The win pushed to the Flyers to 5-0-1 in their last six games and 9-7-1 overall.

Sean Couturier struck for two goals in the win.

Claude Giroux and Nolan Patrick added single markers.

New Chicago head coach, Jeremy Colliton, has been unable to right the Blackhawks season since taking over.

The Hawks have lost seven straight, 0-6-1, and fell to 6-8-3.

The distressing thing for Chicago fans and front office is the club is not giving much push back in the losses.  The Flyers had their way for most of the game.

Corey Crawford made 21 saves in the loss.
