EIHL Week 6 on the Horizon

What’s happening in Week 6 of the Elite League season? A little bit of everything! Here’s what’s coming up across another packed week of EIHL action:

On Tuesday night, Belfast Giants play their final CHL game of the season at home to Brynäs IF. The Giants cannot advance, while Brynäs have already qualified for the next round.

It’s half-term in parts of Scotland, and the week begins with midweek fixtures in Fife and Glasgow. The Flyers, still searching for their first league win, host the Nottingham Panthers, while Glasgow Clan welcome Sheffield Steelers to Braehead Arena.

On Friday night, league leaders Manchester Storm face Guildford Flames in Challenge Cup action at the Storm Shelter.

That Storm–Flames matchup forms part of a home-and-home series, with the return game taking place in Surrey on Saturday. Elsewhere that night, Clan travel to Cardiff, Sheffield visit Coventry, and Fife make another trip to Belfast.

The Nottingham Panthers are on the road in Dundee on Saturday before hosting the Stars at home on Sunday to complete their doubleheader. Sunday’s schedule also sees Sheffield Steelers host Cardiff Devils in a crucial Group A Challenge Cup clash, while Fife Flyers welcome Belfast Giants to Kirkcaldy and Glasgow Clan round out their weekend in Coventry.
