EIHL Week 11 opens on Friday night

Week 11 in the Elite Ice Hockey League’s 2025/26 season opens on Friday night with two games.

In Belfast, Coventry Blaze are the Giants’ visitors from 7pm. The teams go into the weekend with the Giants two places higher in sixth, and three points better off having played two games fewer. The Giants’ home loss to Manchester in overtime last weekend was their first defeat at the SSE Arena to EIHL opposition since opening weekend. Historically, they win 67% of home games against the Blaze, with 46 wins from 69 meetings.

In-form Glasgow Clan welcome Guildford Flames to Braehead Arena at 7.30pm hoping to extend their good run. Clan have won five of their last six games and also picked up a point in that loss to stretch their run of results back to 1 November. The team has not lost a game in regulation this month. Guildford welcomed goalie Jake Kupsky back to the line-up last week and have also not lost in regulation in three games. Their overtime win over Glasgow just under a fortnight ago ended a run of four straight losses. Clan came away with a 5-1 win when these teams met in Glasgow at the start of October, giving them 10 home wins out of 21 league meetings with the Flames.
