Cardiff Devils and Manchester Storm meet at the Vindico Arena on Friday 24 September in what promises to be a crucial Challenge Cup fixture.
Cardiff Devils, who will be looking at winning the group, arrive in good shape in the group stage. They have played four Cup games so far, collecting six points including three straight wins before losing in Coventry last Sunday. The 2025 finalists are second in Group A.
Manchester Storm are also part of the early mix, having played four Cup games as well, and returning four points. They picked up an excellent point in Sheffield last weekend after losing at home to Nottingham on Friday night.
The teams have met three times at the Vindico Arena in Cup Action. The Devils have a 2-1 win record, but have collected at least a point in every meeting.
