EIHL: All set for Sunday

Twenty-nine games have been played on 23 November in Elite League history. Home teams have won 15 of those, with 13 victories for visiting sides. Only one game ended tied in regulation – a 2-2 Challenge Cup quarter-final between Edinburgh and Sheffield in 2016. Just two shutouts have ever been recorded on this date, including Sheffield’s 2-0 win over Manchester in 2003.

Manchester Storm have rarely found league success in Sheffield. They have just two road wins from 23 visits to the Utilita Arena, with the Steelers winning the other 21. None of those meetings have ever gone beyond 60 minutes.

In Dundee, Nottingham Panthers boast a strong historical record. They have won 24 of the 37 league games played between the sides at the DIA, with the Stars taking 13 victories.

Cardiff Devils hold a solid advantage over Fife Flyers at the Vindico Arena, having won 29 of 35 meetings. A bright point for the Flyers, however, is they’ve never lost in Cardiff if the games goes beyond 60 minutes.

The final game of the day sees Guildford Flames host Belfast Giants in Surrey, where the visitors have had the upper hand historically. The Giants have 14 wins from 22 league meetings at the Spectrum, with the Flames taking eight. The teams have still never played overtime in Guildford.
