PRINCETON, N.J. – The ECHL announced on Friday that the League’s Board of Governors has approved the transfer of 100 percent interest in the Norfolk Admirals’ Membership from KG (U.S.) Oilers Corp. to Power Play, LLC.
“We are excited and looking forward to this new opportunity,” said Ardon Wiener, a Partner in the new ownership group. “The Admirals have a long successful history in Norfolk and we are committed to the team and look forward to working with the community, season ticket holders, fans and the city to continue the Admirals success.”
“We are pleased to welcome Ardon and his family as owners in the ECHL,” said ECHL Commissioner Brian McKenna. “We share their enthusiasm for the Norfolk market and look forward to working with the new management team.”
