Vince Dunn of the Seattle Kraken was one of 22 restricted free agents who filed for salary arbitration Wednesday, according to the NHL Players’ Association.
The 26-year-old defenseman set NHL career highs in points (64), goals (14), assists (50) and games played (81) last season, his sixth in the League. He had seven points (one goal, six assists) in 14 Stanley Cup Playoff games.
Notable players who filed include forwards Morgan Barron (Winnipeg Jets), Ross Colton (Colorado Avalanche), Brett Howden (Vegas Golden Knights), Tanner Jeannot (Tampa Bay Lightning) and Troy Terry (Anaheim Ducks), and goalies Filip Gustavsson (Minnesota Wild), Ilya Samsonov (Toronto Maple Leafs) and Jeremy Swayman (Boston Bruins).
The deadline for club-elected salary arbitration notification is Thursday at 5 p.m. ET.

Salary arbitration hearings will be held from July 20-Aug. 4. A player can sign a contract with his current team any time before his hearing.
Last offseason, 24 restricted free agents filed for salary arbitration and two had a team-elected hearing scheduled. Forward Yakov Trenin of the Nashville Predators was the only player awarded a contract by an independent arbitrator following his hearing; he received a two-year, $3.4 million contract ($1.7 million average annual value) on Aug. 5, three days after his hearing.
