Patrick Kane, Artem Anisimov and Ryan Hartman scored for the Hawks.

“There’s more importance on the way you play every shift [without Toews], whether it’s myself or anyone on the team,” Kane said. “It’s a tough player to lose. We did a great job getting that 3-0 lead and actually playing with a lead for once.”

Corey Crawford made 34 for the win as the Hawks continue on their Circus trip.

It was another game that the Ducks went without scoring from their leaders.

“With me and [Perry] not scoring the way we are right now, we need to put pucks in the net. We play a lot of minutes. We need to find ways to score goals,” Anaheim’s Ryan Getzlaf said.

John Gibson made 22 saves in the loss.
