Dubnyk, Sharks ground Ducks, 6-0

Kevin Labanc made it 5-0 midway through the final frame.

“You put it behind you and give everything you have,” Labanc said.

Fredrik Handemark added goal (his first NHL goal) for the final strike of the game.

John Gibson made 19 saves and yielded five goals in the loss.

“I think after we missed our chances in the second (period), we chose to play alone, play outside the structure, tried to get two goals at once, and you can’t do that,” Ducks head coach Dallas Eakins said. “That’s what happens in this league, right there.”

Ryan Miller made two saves in a mop up role.
