BILOXI, MS – Biloxi did a one night only rebrand night. So the Mississippi Sea Wolves were the Biloxi Bone Crushers, they started some new players with Justin Portillo and Davide Asselin rounding out the starting lineup.
Dragons scored early on in the first period with Nolan Slachetka scoring the first goal of the game with Ausitn Daae and Josh Pietrantonio assisting the play.
At 4:46 i the first period Dragons managed to sing the puck into the net once again this time by Cody Wickline with the assists by Ausitn Daae and Justin MacDonald 2-0 CRD
Dragons scored 2 more goals unanswered by Austin Daae for his 2nd and Alexander Jameff with his first goal assisted by a strong line of Slachetka, Pietrantonio, Daae and Balkwell. This had the Dragons at 4-0 going into the first intermission.
The Wolves aka Bone Crushers came out on the ice looking to get their first goal and stop the shut out by the Dragons. This was accomplished 7:11 into the second period by Joakim Nilsson assists going to team Captain Justin Barr and fellow forward Hugo Koch.
4-1 Columbus still in the lead but with the Pack still fighting back to make the score in their favor.
During the period, Swan checked Kuznetsov which lead to him hitting the ice and receiving a nasty cut above the eye. Med staff got him all stitched up and back on the ice.
Just before the end of the second period Columbus puts another puck into the net past Goalie Joseph Sheppard. This time it was Justin MacDonald assisted by Ryan Hunter
Score 5-1 Columbus
Going into the 3rd Wolves are looking to try and make a strong push to come back.
Dragons pull further ahead with Hunter Bersani scoring another goal at 12:29 with assists going to Cody Wickline and Alex Strojohann increasing the score to 6-1.
Less the 2 mins later the line of Hunter , MacDonald and Anderson score another goal making it 7-1 with goal credited to Ryan Hunter. Things looking darker for the Bone Crusher.
There was a scuffle between Pinkowski and Swan leading to both serving time in the Box. Things heated up even more in the 3rd with penalties flying for both sides, but mainly for Biloxi.
Biloxi still fought to the end and scored a last chance goal bringing to to 7-2 this goal was netted by Hugo Koch assisted by Jackson Bond and Philip Wong. This ended the game with the final of 7-2
