Deeside clinical in win over Bulldogs

A bumper crowd at the Deeside leisure centre saw another clinical win for the Dragons over bottom side Bradford Bulldogs

The home team raced to a two nil lead in the first period with goals from Parson and Lovell to take command of the game.PSD_0253

The second period got off to a flying start with Simon Furnival increasing the lead to three after only 29 seconds with a shot to the top corner to pile on the misery for the Yorkshire side.

James Parson added to his tally with his second goal of the night with a tip in from a Marc Lovell pass to make it 4-0 to the Dragons.

A minute later Bradford got their only goal of the game against the run of play when Stephan Pristas found himself unmarked the goal area and slotted the puck past Matty Compton.

In the last period, Deeside turn up the pressure with a hatrick from the leagues top scorer Adrian Palak and a goal a piece for Supa and Lovell.

Head coach Lol Paul was pleased with the teams performance and said “games like these can cause problems if you go into them with the wrong attitude , Bradford may be PSD_0417bottom of the league but on the day anything can happen and the lads stuck to the game plan and got the result”

The Dragons have one more home game left in the season against Widnes Wild on the 26th March where they will be presented the league winners trophy by the English ice hockey association  Face off is 19:00 doors open 18:15
