DeBrusk’s goal in shootout lifts Bruins to 4-3 win over Flames in China

In Shenzhen, China, the Boston Bruins’ Jake DeBrusk  potted a shootout goal to help defeat the Calgary Flames in preseason hockey.

The goal gave the Bruins a 4-3 decision after they held a 3-0 lead over Calgary but allowed the Flames to rally and tie it late in regulation.

Trent Frederic, Ryan Donato and John Mooreall scored for Boston in regulation to take a commanding lead.

Mark Giordano struck twice for the Flames including a on the power play with less than a minute left in regulation to force extra time.

Sean Monahangot the Calgary rally started with a power play marker with one second left on the clock in the opening frame.

Jaroslav Halak got the start for the Bruins; he did have equipment issues in the third and Tuukka Rask relieved him briefly.

Jon Gillies took the loss for the Flames.
