Odenton, MD: On Friday, November 24, the visiting Danbury Hat Tricks defeated the Maryland Black Bears in overtime at Piney Orchard Arena.
Alexious Georgaklis got on the board first for Danbury with assists from Emerson Molas and Aleksei Filimonov at 8:39 of the first period. Jesse Horacek would tie the game in the second period with assists from Keaton Lipsett and Ryder Nienhuis. It would be Emerson Molas scoring the game winner at 3:14 of overtime.
Miles Roberts made 42 saves on 43 shots for Danbury, while Colin Ronan made 15 saves on 17 shots. The two teams would meet up again Saturday night back at Piney Orchard.
