Cyclones shut down Royals offense

READING, PA – The Cincinnati Cyclones picked up right where they left off from Game Four and shutdown the Reading Royals high powered offense for a 5-0 shutout to send the series back to Cincinnati. The Royals’ Matt Dalton had another rough night giving up all five goals while Cincinnati’s Jeremy Smith got the win for the Cyclones. This time Cincinnati struck 2:59 into the game when Mathieu Aubin ripped a shot from the left point and beat Dalton between the legs. The game got worse from then on for the Royals as the Cyclones would once again own the second period scoring three times including a power play goal 11 seconds into the period. Cincinnati was 2-7 on the power play while the Royals was once again on the short end of the stick with the amount of power play chances going 0-3. Both teams had 29 shots on goal.
