Glasgow Clan completed a four-point weekend with a two-goal win over Manchester Storm on Sunday evening.
Rylan Schwartz scored the only goal of the opening period at 9:39 to give Clan the lead through 20 minutes.
After a penalty against him had expired, Brady Risk skated through alone on Drew DeRidder and finished to double Clan’s lead at 25:41. However, just 37 seconds later, Brendon Cutler’s pass across the crease was finished at the back post by Bradley Jenion to halve the deficit.
Brett Neumann scored his third goal of the weekend at 30:06 to restore Clan’s two-goal advantage.
Harrison Caines tipped a Brendon Clavelle shot past Liam Souliere with 8:10 remaining to bring Storm back within one, with the play reviewed for a possible high stick before the goal was confirmed.
Manchester pressed hard for the equaliser and pulled DeRidder for the extra attacker, but a misplaced pass across the slot from Brady Gilmour was intercepted by Rylan Schwartz, who set up Cade Neilson to fire into the empty net and seal the win.
