Clan complete perfect home weekend

Glasgow Clan picked up their second home win of the week with a 4-1 victory over Coventry Blaze on Sunday afternoon.

The hosts exploded out of the blocks, striking four times in the opening period. Jason Fram opened the scoring at 3:27 when he finished off an excellent pass across the slot from Brett Neumann. Just two and a half minutes later, Tristin Langan came in on the same wing and buried a Joe Hazeldine feed past Dershahn Stewart to double the lead.

Clan struck again on the rush at 16:44 as Austin Mitchell-King redirected Steven Seigo’s pass for his first professional goal. Rylan Schwartz rounded off a dominant first period with Glasgow’s fourth, scoring 55 seconds before the intermission.

Coventry got on the board early in period two when Artem Buzoverya finished at 22:05, but it proved to be their only goal of the night.

A quieter third period followed, with no further scoring and just the lone penalty of the game. Clan closed out a strong weekend with back-to-back home victories.
