“We weren’t ready to begin that game,” Chicoutimi head coach Yanick Jean said near Sagueneens locker room. “We played very poorly in the beginning of the game, it has been very long time we have seen that from our team. It was like we have had great weekend in Abitibi and we said to ourselves it will be easier we can take shortcut, I think our preparation wasn’t really fine, I was really disappointed.”
“It wasn’t a case of result, it is the process I’m really disappointed of our preparation, the way we went out, I’m happy because we did not let go we persevered, we have had couple bounces for us, in our favor in second period, we won’t hide it, at least we changed our mindset. Forget about the score just go drive to the net and we will see what will happen.” Continued Chicoutimi head coach Jean.
For Quebec captain Matthew Boucher it was hard to take. “It was a very, very average effort, not respectable in last period, it cost us the game. “ Admitted Quebec left winger Matthew Boucher.
“We just didn’t play that good, Maybe it was the case, we should talk in the locker room and talk about it in eyes to eyes. One thing is sur we didn’t get out too strong, that is why we lose.”

For Quebec head coach Philippe Boucher he didn’t like anything about the game. “ I’m not sure we did came back too many times lately, one thing is sure, I saw six scoring chances five goals scored, that is what bug me a bit,” Quebec head coach Philippe Boucher answered to a reporter who asked the first question about the fact Quebec team seem to lose their leads lately.
“I didn’t like anything about tonight game I can’t find any excuses for anyone their “Euro” (European player) was dominant, their 20 years old Galipeau, played his best hockey, It was tougher for ours. I like our effort in first, but Marc (Fortier) assistant coach, made the remark, “when you play golf an made a birdie on your first hole and you are an average golfer, you think you will play your best game and often you ply your worse” I hate scoring goal soon in a game, we scored three human nature came back.”
“We prepared ourselves very well, we told them Chicoutimi player very good hockey they weren’t the same team as the beginning of the year and human nature came to haunt us. I didn’t like to hear the coach on the other side yelled, I didn’t like the way they played. The last time I see a team played like that was in peewee 3d. I didn’t like anything from tonight’s game.” Ended Quebec head coach Boucher.
