Having been penalized in the second period giving first five-on-three power play opportunity to Quebec leading them to their second goal, Dexter Weber found a way to redeemed himself scoring what became the game winning goal with 30.8 seconds remaining in the third period. His wrist shot from the slot beat Kiselev on the right side.

“Each period got different script we have had ups and down I like the fact our guys were able to keep their composure after losing it in the second. I thought we took some really undisciplined penalties dogging ourselves a hole but I think our experience got us threw and help us kept our focus in the third.” Charlottetown head coach Jim Hulton said after his team won the only games on this three games in three nights on the road.

“Yea when you have dropped two you want to stand this things when you go on a long skid at this time of the season. Every games is important but as I said before for us it is more of playing the game the right way be in the right frame of mind to come back in the third in a tough building id a big character boost for our club.” Continued Islanders head coach Hulton.

Coming in relief of Booth who left the game after blocking all seven shots he faced, Evgeny Kiselev gave up two goals on first two shots he face in 26 seconds.

“Coming in the game taking the relief of injured goaltender wasn’t easy but there is no excuse, I should play better,” admitted former Baie-Comeau number one netminder Evgeny Kiselev.

“I didn’t made enough saves to give our team a chance to win this game. Sure I’m preparing myself for a game, I was a bit nervous when I came in the game they scores two goals right away, I think I was generous.” The starting netminder Booth said.

Ending his game with one goal one assist Quebec center wasn’t happy of his game been on the ice for goal against his team in three occasions.

“It’s complicated, it is some details, on last goal I would like to make a pass in center ice but I should be more safely I should have chosen to a better play, I should be less risky. Trying to make a pass right in center, I should better put it behind the goal. It was little things like that that made the difference in the game.” Quebec center Auguste Impose said.

“In second period they were nervous they took stupid penalties we came back in the game that is a details. In third I made an error on last goal they scored it was the kind of situation I should be more careful.”

It took several times before Quebec head coach came for his usual press conference after the game, a possible meeting with referee supervisor might be the reason.

“We didn’t helped him we really played bad on first goal it was almost a two-on-two that turn on a two-on-one and we gave up two pass. On second I’m sure he (Kiselev) would like to get another chance to see it back. Like we talked between the period he saved us more often and it is up to us to help him, we almost done but in the third we weren’t able to keep our one goal lead,” Quebec head coach Philippe Boucher said.
