OTTAWA, ON – The Ottawa Charge have announced that forward Taylor House has been signed to a Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) Standard Player Agreement (SPA), and that forward Kateřina Mrázová has been placed on long-term injured reserve (LTIR) retroactive to Feb. 13.
House started the season on the Charge’s Reserve Player list and has played in eight games so far in 2024-25. The Joliet, Illinois native was at the end of her second 10-day contract when signed to this new agreement. The former Quinnipiac University Bobcat will suit up again on Wednesday when the Charge host the New York Sirens at TD Place.
Mrázová suffered an upper-body injury during the Charge’s 8-3 win against the Minnesota Frost on Feb. 13 and has missed the team’s last three games. She is eligible to return on Mar. 7 when the Charge travel to Raleigh, North Carolina for the PWHL Takeover Tour against the Frost. The 32 year-old Czech center has contributed two goals and four assists for six points through her first 11 games of the PWHL season.
House’s presence on the roster will also help the team manage the absence of forward Rebecca Leslie who is day-to-day after suffering an upper-body injury in the third period of Saturday’s 3-1 win against the Montréal Victoire.
