SHEFFIELD – A 6-2 win in Sheffield over the Steelers confirmed the victory.
The Devils scored on the first shift when Andrew Lord set up Mark Richardson for the opening goal just 33 seconds into the game. From there the Devils rolled
Goals from Patrick Asselin, Joey Martin, Sean Bentivoglio and Andrew Lord put the game out of reach. A final empty net goal from Patrick Bordeleau made it 6-2 and sent the Devils and their fans into hysterics.
