Cardiff Devils have confirmed the extension of their partnership with Bristol Pitbulls for the 2025/26 season.

The Pitbulls are based across the Severn Bridge and play in the National League.
Bayley Harewood spent time on a two-way deal with both clubs over past seasons, but this year has been signed as a full-time Devil. This season, Netminder Harry Thomas and forward Jacob Bryceland will be on two-way deals between the sides.
Said Devils Managing Director Todd Kelman:
“Over the past three seasons, the partnership between the Bristol Pitbulls and the Cardiff Devils has grown into a strong and valuable player pathway.
In a sport where opportunities for homegrown players can be limited, the link between the two clubs has created a genuine route for talent to progress, a pathway we are proud to be part of.
The results speak for themselves: multiple British players have had the chance to get their foot in the door, gain valuable professional experience, and test themselves at the highest level in the UK. Once again, we look forward to continuing this relationship.
This connection has already paid dividends. Players benefit not only from game time, but also from exposure to top-level coaching, elite facilities, and the culture that Cardiff is renowned for.
We’re proud to support the Pitbulls in their long-term vision — developing local talent, giving them meaningful ice time, and preparing them for the demands of higher-level hockey. We wish the Pitbulls every success for the season ahead.”
