Capitals hold rookie camp in Annapolis Season inches closer

Annapolis, MD: On Friday, September 12, the Washington Capitals held the first of three practices at McMullen Arena, home to the Naval Academy Midshipmen.

Twenty-three players were invited including Ryan Leonard, the former first round draft pick, who has already played in nine NHL games. Goalies were on the ice at 10:30 with former Capitals goalies Braden Holtby and Olaf Kolzig.

Full team practice began at 11:00 and concluded at 12:30. The practices will continue on Sunday and Monday.
