Can Rogle See Victory Once Again Next Year?

Rogle ended their 2022 season with the title of Champions in the Champions Hockey League. With an 11-2 W-L record, it’s no surprise that Rogle saw their way to victory, and it was well deserved to say the least. However, if recent games are anything to go by, Rogle are not doing some of their best work.Rögle BK Team Colors | HEX, RGB, CMYK, PANTONE COLOR CODES OF SPORTS TEAMS

Is it true that Daniel Zaar is the reason for Rogle claiming their Champions title? After being the only goal scorer on his team for the entire game, it certainly might be.

Rogle as a Team

Rogle are a Swedish team, currently captained by Anton Bengtsson. Having played in a range of different leagues and tournaments, it’s easy to look back on their past and see a mixed bag. While this is not their first victory in a league, they have certainly been few and far between in the past. In recent years, they have had varying results in the SHL, but they came together to see fantastic success, coming out on top in the end.

But, what changed to bring success in the last CHL season, and can it continue?

Daniel Zaar and His Incredible Goals

Daniel Zaar saw his team to victory with the best win by scoring two goals in their match against Tappara Tampere. He certainly kept his adoring fans waiting, as this was the final game in the season. The first goal was scored in the 3rd minute of the 1st period with an assist from A.Bengtsson and. The crowd went wild, he then impressed everyone again in the 2nd period at the 30th minute with an assist from A.Tambellini.

He won Best Player of the Match for this game, which was very well deserved. This is an amazing achievement seeing as Zaar was actually injured at the time of playing this match. Unfortunately, this was the only match he played during the CHL 2021/2022 season. He suffered injury and was off from 20th November 2021 to 14th February 2022.

Predictions for the Next CHL

Looking at the current way that Rogle are playing, it’s looking like some major improvements need to be made, and quickly at that. In the last 10 games that they have played, they have only managed to score a victory in 3. Not a fantastic few months for the champions of the CHL, but this doesn’t mean their performance is not going to improve when September rolls around.

This is not to say that it’s not worth placing hockey bets on Rogle, especially as at sites like Bodog there are up to 29 different bets you could place on the team for an individual CHL game. But serious improvements need to be made if they want a shot at defending their title.

Overall then, based on the current performance of the team, they need to pull something out fast if they have any hope of winning the CHL. With the CHL season starting in only 8 days, something has got to be done fast to bring this team together once more, or their Champion status could be in jeopardy.
