LOVELAND, Colo – The San Francisco Bulls lost again to the Colorado Eagles, 7-2, on Saturday night at the Budweiser Events Center. Michael Forney scored three goals to lead the Eagles. Jordan Morrison and Dylan King scored the two goals for the Bulls, who have now lost their last six games (0-5-0-1).
Dylan Hood put the Eagles on top with 3:05 remaining in the first period. Morrison tied the game up just 46 seconds later with a high shot over the glove of Kyle Jones. Evan Barlow and Kris Belan earned the assists on the play. The Eagles took over in the second period with four goals. Forney scored at the 1:11 mark on the power play. While shorthanded, Cody Sol had a shot from his own blue line carom off a player and eluded Taylor Nelson at 7:07. Nelson was then replaced by Thomas Heemskerk after allowing Forney’s second of the period with 7:55 remaining in the period. Joey Sides put the Eagles up 5-1 with 4:15 remaining in the second period.
In the third period, the Eagles went up 6-1 on Forney’s third goal at 3:13. Ray Kaunisto made it a 7-1 game at the 9:50 mark. King rounded out the scoring on the power play with his first goal in a Bulls jersey. Jordan Clendenning and Dean Ouellet earned the assists on the goal with 3:22 remaining in the third period. The Bulls play one more road game on Wednesday in Ontario against the Reign. They will then head home to face the Stockton Thunder on Friday, November 9 and the Ontario Reign on Saturday, November 10.
