Bruins push Sabres skid to five

In Buffalo, the Sabres’ season took another loss, this time to the Boston Bruins, 3-1, on Saturday.

Patrice Bergeron struck for a pair of goals in the win for Boston.

Keith Kinkaid made 30 saves  in the Bruins win.

Tage Thompson was the lone striker for the Bruins, he scored in the first period to give the Sabres a 1-0 lead.

Bergeron scored in the middle frame to even the game, 1-1.

Boston improved to 13-2-0.

Boston scored twice in the third period; Jakub Zboril hit for his first career NHL goal. It turned out to the be the game-winner.

The Sabres dropped to 7-8-0, Buffalo has lost five straight.

Bergeron added his second of the night with just under two minutes left in the third for the 3-1 final.
