A Jake Bolton overtime winner ensured a welcome home victory for Aspray Glasgow West sponsored Glasgow Clan, as they edged Manchester Storm in a 4-3 game.
With four players out injured and on the back of a disappointing loss in Belfast on Saturday, Clan rallied to end the weekend on a high, thanks to their defenceman at the crucial time.
The home side went ahead with a stylish backhand finish from Luke Lynch over Storm netminder Evan Weninger’s left shoulder after being set up by Nate Kallen.
Manchester almost drew level when Tyler Hinam’s close rage effort was touched past the net by Clan’s goalie, Antti Karjalainen.
But Jason Morgan’s men were celebrating again as Robert Lachowicz assisted with Darien Craighead, who applied the finish with aplomb.
