SAN JOSE, Calif. – The St. Louis Blues scored four straight goals in the second period and ended a six-game skid with a 6-3 win against the San Jose Sharks at SAP Center on Thursday.
Pavel Buchnevich had four assists, and Colton Parayko, Jordan Kyrou and Brayden Schenn each had a goal and an assist for the Blues (27-29-5), who were 0-4-2 during the skid. Thomas Greiss made 22 saves for his first win since Jan. 8 (five starts).

Alexander BarabanovĀ had a goal and an assist, andĀ James ReimerĀ made 17 saves for the Sharks (18-32-12), who have lost four straight (0-3-1).
Barabanov gave San Jose a 1-0 lead at 3:50 of the first period when he eludedĀ Justin FaulkĀ in the right face-off circle and scored five-hole.
Logan CoutureĀ made it 2-0 at 6:31 on a one-timer in the left circle fromĀ Erik Karlsson.

Parayko cut it to 2-1 at 2:35 of the second period on a redirection fromĀ Nikita Alexandrov, and Kyrou tied it 2-2 at 5:21 on St. Louis’ first power play with a wrist shot from the edge of the left circle.
Logan BrownĀ scored his first of the season at 9:30 with a wrist shot from the right circle, and Schenn made it 4-2 on a power play at 19:00 after a feed from Kyrou.
Steven LorentzĀ cut it to 4-3 with his first NHL short-handed goal at 6:36 of the third period, a wrist shot from between the circles.

Tyler PitlickĀ gave St. Louis a 5-3 lead at 14:52 after a giveaway by San Jose defensemanĀ Jacob MacDonald, andĀ Kasperi KapanenĀ scored into an empty net with 2:57 left for the 6-3 final.
It was Kapanen’s first goal with the Blues after being claimed off waivers from the Pittsburgh Penguins on Feb. 25.
