Blues remain in playoff hunt

ST LOUIS, Mo – The St. Louis Blues had a fairly successful week winning three of their four games.  Despite the one loss, St. Louis is within four points of the number eight spot in the Western Conference which is needed to make the playoffs.  The Blues have four games remaining this week including two against playoff teams (Chicago and Nashville), one against Columbus whom is already out of the playoffs, and one game against Anaheim who is in a similar situation as the St. Louis Blues.

Blues 4, Chicago 2
Alexander Steen’s 22nd and 23rd goals led the Blues past the high flying Blackhawks as the St. Louis Blues won their third straight game.  Erik Johnson scored for the second straight game to help St. Louis continue their hunt for the playoffs.  Chris Mason made 32 saves on 34 shots for the Blues to win his 27th game this season.

Blues 2, Dallas 1
T.J. Oshie opened the scoring for St. Louis early in the second period with his 17th goal of the season.
