In St Louis, the Blues’ Jordan Binnington got back to winning with a 3-2 victory over the visiting Ottawa Senators on Saturday.
Binnington improved to 4-0-1 in his five starts.
“Gives us a chance to win and he did that,” Blues head coach Craig Berube said. “He was solid.”

The Blues got back to .500 hockey at 21-2-15.
Carl Gunnarsson, Vladimir Tarasenko and Vince Dunn were the goal scorers for St Louis.
“It felt great,” Gunnarson said. “It wasn’t a perfect game. We fought it out,
“Binnington was great back there and we found a way. Two points. That’s all that matters right now.”
St Louis is 6-3-1 in their last 10.
Nick Paul and Magnus Paajarvi scored for the Senators who dropped to 19-25-5.
“The first period, we were trying to find our legs and we got better as the game went along. An unfortunate sequence happened. It’s tough, but our team battled. It shows our character and our group that we’re never out of it,” the Senators’ Brady Tkachuk said after the game.

Craig Anderson returned to the nets after missing games for a concussion; he made 35 saves in the loss.
“I thought overall it (his game) was pretty good,” Anderson said. “Didn’t get the result. We definitely want to get wins here and that’s a big part. … Overall, I felt like I was in shape and seeing the puck pretty good and battling. That was a big thing, just trying to get that timing back and it was there.”
