Genting Casino Coventry Blaze coach Chuck Weber expects to see a positive reaction from his side when they return to Elite League action on Thursday night.
Blaze welcome Edinburgh Capitals to the Skydome (7.30pm face-off) looking to put their Continental Cup disappointment behind them.
Weber said: “Edinburgh have made a great start and are pretty dynamic offensively.
“Ryan Hayes has been a good find for them and his line for the most part has generated a lot of offence.
“They put six past Cardiff at the weekend so they are capable of scoring and it is going to be a huge test for us.
“The big thing for us is building on our last league game against Nottingham as well as our performances in the Continental Cup.
“Our last game definitely hurt but we can also take a lot of positives out of it. Part of being a professional is about putting those games behind you and moving forward.”
Weber has confirmed a number of players will be assessed in the build-up to the game.
