Coventry Blaze head to face the Dundee Stars for the final time this season on Friday night.
Since losing in overtime to the Stars on 9 January, the Blaze have won all three subsequent meetings between the sides, restricting Dundee to two goals in each of those fixtures.
Dundee enter the weekend 18 points outside a playoff place with only 14 games left to make up the gap on Glasgow Clan. From this point on, anything other than wins will leave their post-season hopes hanging by a thread.
Coventry’s excellent form since the turn of the year has lifted them into sixth place, just three points off the top five. A regulation win for the Blaze would move them to within two points of confirming their playoff spot.
