The Genting Casino Coventry Blaze continued their excellent home form by beating the Dundee Stars 4-0 on Thursday night in the Viaplay Elite League.
Blaze were without Captain Nate Halbert (injury) and centreman Marly Quince (one game suspension) but were bolstered by the addition of two-way defenceman Rhodes Mitchell-Kings who made his first Elite League appearance.
In a back and forth first period, the Blaze took a lead at 11.01 with blue-liner Garrett Johnston charging the net and being rewarded with his third goal of the season.

Coventry took full control of the game with two goals in a minute during the second period to make it 3-0 after 40 minutes.
Johnny Curran made it 2-0 with his ninth goal of the regular season at 35.36 before Colton Yellow Horn scored his eighth goal and 21st point which leads the team and ranks fourth of all players in the league.

Blaze made it 4-0 at 48.33 scoring on the league leading powerplay (28.81%) through Peyton Frantti which was his sixth of the season.
Netminder Paavo Holsa made 20 saves to record his second shutout of the season.
Blaze now travel to Scotland for two games up North this weekend against the Glasgow Clan on Saturday (7pm) and Fife Flyers on Sunday (6pm)
The next home game is on Sunday 27th November (5.30pm) vs. Belfast Giants.
