“It wasn’t a great hockey game but what do you want me to say, you haven’t have to play hockey game for not understanding how hard it can be. I told guy’s in the locker room it is an AHL schedule, and guy act like professional all weekend long. It wasn’t exactly like we wanted but guys stick with the game plan, blocking shots. I didn’t took anything from Quebec, I coach my team and I will let Philippe 9Boucher) coaching his team.”

Beside a couple of scoring chances on both sides, neither team was successful breaking the ice in first period. Beside the fight a fourth one in two games between the two teams this one involving Armada defenseman Daven Castonguay and left winger Alexandre Drapeau no penalty has been called by referees Simon Tartre and Pascal St. Jacques.

Quebec began the third on stronger note as Yanick Turcotte get the home team on board with his third goal of the regular season with only seven seconds gone. Armada goaltender Samuel Montembeault made the save on first shot by Jonathan Bourcier but Turcotte took the rebound and shoot it in.

Recognized in the league as a team that works hard and methodically for sixty minutes, the Armada came back regaining his two-goal lead scoring next two in span of 1:05.

A costly mistake by Quebec defenseman Bryce O’Brien as he made a pass right in front of his goalie turned right in Blainville-Boisbriand second goal. After first shot taken by Pascal Corbeil Connor Bramwell beat Kiselev with backhanded shot at 1:52.

Just over a minute later, after a face-off win in Quebec defensive zone, Armada defenseman Pascal Corbeil took first shot saved by Quebec netminder but unable to keep the rebound Joel Teasdale took the rebound and beat Kiselev for his 9th goals of the season at 2:57.

Quebec replied with their second goal of the game as Defenseman Erienne Vermette saw his shot been redirect by center Olivier Garneau at 5:21. But it was too later for Philippe Boucher team seeing his team lose against the Armada after defeating the same team the day before shutting them out 2-0.

“It was like that when you played the Armada it was like playing chest game, if you make mistake, each move is calculated. It wasn’t the kind of funny hockey to play. But we didn’t gave too many thing in first and second, Yanick (Turcotte) help us coming back in the game but we came back in our zone with the puck and it is the kind of thing we shouldn’t do, we were lazy on two goals. It was something we should be prevented” Resumed Quebec head coach Philippe Boucher after the game.

“Against them it is really hermetic, I’m happy we didn’t play against them too often nothing happened they stick within the system it is the little details in game like that and with Montembeault in the net they won’t gave too many chances.” Continued Quebec head coach Boucher.
