The Florida Everblades continued their dominant streak in the South Division Finals, clinching a crucial Game 3 victory against the Orlando Solar Bears with a final score of 4-2. The game started off with both teams displaying a strong defensive presence, resulting in a scoreless first period. However, it was the Everblades who drew first blood in the second period when Zach Uens found the back of the net at 8:56, assisted by Matt Wedman and Josh Ho-Sang. This early goal gave Florida the momentum they needed.

The Everblades extended their lead later in the second period with a goal from Todd Skirving at 16:58, assisted by Bobo Carpenter and Mark Senden. But the Solar Bears quickly responded just 18 seconds later with a goal from Mitchell Hoelscher, assisted by Jaydon Dureau and Darik Angeli, bringing the score to 2-1 in favor of Florida heading into the third period.

Orlando continued to fight back in the third period, tying the game at 2-2 with a goal from Angeli at 4:30, assisted by Kurt Gosselin and Marc-Andre Gaudet. However, the Everblades refused to let up, reclaiming the lead with a goal from Wedman at 10:52, assisted by Ho-Sang.

As the clock winded down and the Solar Bears pulled their goalie for an extra attacker, Florida capitalized on the opportunity with an empty-net goal from Oliver Chau at 19:05, assisted by Carpenter, sealing the victory for the Everblades with a final score of 4-2.

The three stars of the game were awarded to Matt Wedman of the Everblades for his goal and assist, Josh Ho-Sang also of the Everblades for his two assists, and Spencer Kersten of the Solar Bears for his efforts in the game.

With Game 4 looming on the horizon, the pressure is on for the Orlando Solar Bears to rally back and stave off elimination, while the Florida Everblades look to close out the series and secure their spot in the next round. Game 4 is scheduled to take place on Thursday, May 9th, at the Kia Center in Orlando, Florida.
