playing in the GMHL.

He started at Komoka Dragons and then Tottenham Steam scoring 10 times in 32 games collecting 27 points.

The 22-year-old from Basingstoke made his senior debut in season 2011/12 and picked up four assists in the Herd’s championship winning season.

He played for Basingstoke Buffalo in NIHL South Two being one of the team’s top scorers.

Elliott Dewey is another Basingstoke-born player and having started his career he moved to Slough, but came back to the Bison playing seven games in 2013/14.

He then played for the Buffalo and the under-18 Bison teams for the reminder of the season, before making his NIHL debut for Invicta Dynamos.

In three seasons the stay at home defenceman scored twice in a 26 points haul and they picked up 110 minutes in penalties.

Last season he helped the Kent side to play-off glory.

“This are two very good young talents and I am really pleased to have them at the Bison this season. I think a year away in Canada will really benefit Ryan and Elliott was too young when he last played for us, but has a lot of experience at this level,” said Doug Sheppard.
