In St Louis, the Blues scored three goals in a span of 32 seconds in the middle frame on Thursday night.After a scoreless opening stanza, Brandon Saad hit off the power play at 4:35 of the period for a 1-0 lead to the Blues.

Pavel Buchnevich, who hit for a natural hat trick, scored the first at 4:45 for a 2-0 lad to the Blues.

He then picked up his double at 5:01 of the frame for a 3-0 advantage.

One goal was more than enough for Jordan Binnington, who made 38 saves in in a 4-0 win.

The Blues improved to 30-24-2.

The Islanders dropped to 23-19-14 off their third loss in four matches.

Buchnevich collected his hats when he hit an empty net at 9:21 of the third for the 4-0 final count on the scoreboard.

The 32-second outburst broke a =franchise record in St Louis.
