JACKSONVILLE – The Icemen hit for four goals in the period on Thursday night, taking a 4-1 lead over the Orlando Solar Bears into the middle frame.
Orlando tried to rally back with single markers in the second and third periods but were unable to catch a break to tie the game up.
The Icemen took the two points on a 4-3 win.
Four different strikers hit for the Icemen including Nathan Dunkley, John Spetz, Brayden Hislop, and Christopher Brown.
Aaron Luchuk scored for Orlando in the first period.
Tyler Bird and Jack Adams scored in the second and third , respectively.
