NASHVILLE, Tenn – With the energy still bouncing off the walls of the Bridgestone Arena from Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final, the Nashville Predators rode the wave to a Game 4 win to tie the series at 2-2.
It was another big second period for the Predators as they smothered the Pittsburgh Penguins to take a 3-1 lead after ending the first period tied 1-1.
Preds goalie Pekka Rinne then held the lead by stopping a series of breakaways from the Pens.
Nashville added an empty net goal with just under three minutes left in regulation to seal the game for a 4-1 final score.
