ANNAPOLIS, Maryland – The US Naval Academy scored six unanswered goals in a 6-1 win over Rochester Institute of Technology Friday night.
Derek Golembrosky scored twice for the Midshipmen.
Golembrosky added two assists for his night’s efforts.
Conner Hyden, Matthew Stamler, Josiah Tolvo,and Joseph Kelly also scored for Navy in the win.
Kelly added three assists to the scoresheet for the Midshipmen.
Michael Campbell broke through for RIT midway through the third period to end the shut out bid and close out the scoring.
Luke Markus picked up the win on saves.
Nicholas Amato was peppered all night in the RIT nets and 48 saves on 54 shots.
